Feedback from the facilitators and surrogates

Tuesday, 23 February 2016

What a marathon again. I trust you had a good night's sleep!

I was hardly able to stir myself this morning, and felt groggy till about noon! (So far no other detox symptoms.). I was staggering towards the end...

Five and one-half hours, my oh my! Just opened your e-mail.

Tis only 8:30pm here; was wondering why I was longing for bedtime...

For several days before the event, and also since the event, I have needed quite a bit more sleep than usual, and find myself suddenly dropping off at odd times of the day. Yesterday (Tuesday) I was in a sort of daze, and just not in the mood to 'do' anything much other than sleeping and sitting outside with the dogs, cats and monkeys!

Headache began about twenty minutes before you started and I felt inordinately tired throughout. Drank loads of water, as it felt like a lot of heavy metals were being released - I could almost smell them? My mouth was very dry throughout, which is unusual for me.

The two days before the event, I felt a build-up of energy and I had to drag myself to do what I had to do. A jog up the mountain late Sunday evening really helped a lot.

I had a busy Monday, but paced myself gently through the work day. I felt very lucid (quite different from Sunday) and settled on the treatment table by about 19h30 our time (in South Africa).

I cannot remember much from the moment I closed my eyes, till Amanda (the co-facilitator) announced that the session was over. It was as if I slipped out to another universe and returned.

Animals that came up for me around the event were sea creatures, especially sperm whales and sea turtles. Meanwhile I am surrounded by soft furry creatures (the family currently has 2 adult cats and 9 kittens waiting for homes) that turn around my feet and share all my comfort zones...

Such interesting feedback. I have required more sleep since and am drinking an incredible amount of water. Overall feel quite chipper.

...K. (a young cat) was racing around the house like on a mission. Was a lot of electrical energy around. Monday night and Tuesday I was exhausted. Today I am still very stiff in my neck and shoulders...

I have continued experiencing that deep weariness today (Thursday), needing lots of water as well.... but have been continuing as normal, albeit at a rather slow pace...! I know from experience that it will pass soon.

The cats have been resting more than usual,. It was sweet to see the whole tribe camping out on G's bed on Tuesday :) Both K. and G. had a bad detox reaction towards the end of the week - headaches and nausea. I have a strong feeling that particularly K.'s reaction was related to a heavy metals detox...
